Wood veneer is seen on most MCM pieces and is super delicate when restoring. Trifle has the tools, know how and skill to safely restore your piece.
Using traditional methods of sanding, staining, polishing and sealing, Nana's iconic coffee table will be good for another 70 years.

Lampshades, cushions & chair pads made to your exact sizing requirements, with fabric options for DAYS. Trifle is a a fabric and pattern oracle, so bring us your vision, and we'll do the rest.
We can design and print some retro geometric style fabric, or you can get into our vintage stash of patterns and solids 🧡
We can advise and supply the best fabric types for the piece and we'll use natural fabrics where humanly possible. Think tweeds, velvets and linen canvas. We're totally dopamining on some cotton jumbo corduroy at the moment and obsessed with it. Retro salmon, mustard, orange, olive. Let's talk fabric baby.
Usually less dollary doos than you think since all our shades and cushions are one offs anyway. Prices will be similar to what you see in our online shop.

We will always work with items that are unsuitable for a traditional restoration, we believe it would be sacrilegious any other way! We like to use patterns and colours that are sympathetic to the era. You won't be seeing any mOdErn fArmHauS or grey aesthetics in our portfolio, and design is fashion forward and on point.
